Whatever you do, whatever you say, always share out of a heart of God's love.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1John 1 :9KJV
At one point of time or another we fall guilty to one of the 7 deadly sins. one mentioned amoung them is so important; that it is mentioned continually thoughout the word of God; and it is about the power withing our mouth, ~the power of our words and what we say.

Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things which the LORD hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him: 1.Haughty eyes, 2. a lying tongue, And 3. hands that shed innocent blood, 4. A heart that devises wicked plans, 5. Feet that run rapidly to evil, 6. A false witness who utters lies, And 7. one who spreads strife among brothers. (Notice that the one who spreads strife is different than a false witness who is a liar. The following verses will reveal how such things as GOSSIP and SLANDER "spread strife among brothers." )

Hebrews 1:6 tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God, and so we know that to be like Jesus and to please Him, we need to walk continually close to him, renewing our mind to His word.

Romans 12 :2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Without the word of God strengthening our spirit, we outwalk and act according to this world.

God said in deuteronomy "Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!

The power of our words continues to be spoken about throughout the word of God.

Proverbs 18:21says that ~
The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.

Something that i have noticed is that people who gossip find it hard to believe that you don't, or they find it difficult to believe that they don't come up in conversations. I initially started thinking about people who become extreamly parranoid and sensitive about the possible words and things that may have been said about them.
It lead me to thinking a little more on the subject of Gossip.
I think that if you want to have more faith and trust, in what people do or don't say, stopping gossip begins with you.

If you can't stop takling about people or meditating on bad things then "you/ we" will find it hard to believe and trust in others.

No one is perfect in everything that they say, and sometimes no matter how you say things, and even when you say things out of the best intentions, you are taken out of context or percieved in the wrong way.

I think that a good rule of thumb in scripture from the bible, is to do unto others as you would have them do unto you"

We need to live to speak unto others as we would have them speak unto us. (matthew 7:12)
If something is not encouraging, and uplifting towards the word of God them it shouldn't be said. especially if your words are containing a lack of faith.

It is also important to know and realise that we also cannot controll offence, in others hearts ;and we cannot always see what is there before we speak.

My advise is, ~And i am still learning,to daily strengthen these biblical truths in my life;

~ we need firstly to pray, and be lead by the Holy Spirit. Walking with God should be every second every minute and every moment of the day.

Gossip is straight out wrong. and when you are communicating, if arguments or disagreements arrise, they are not of God.

Even when you are right, you can appologise for the hurt that has been recieved.
~ We need always to realise our lack of faith that we have in people and to repent, from our sin, our wrong thinking ~and any missunderstandingss that fall outside of the lines of faith and God's love.

There is not one scripture where you see the words of Jesus spoken behind a persons back,
and the only people mentioned in scripture whom Jesus rebuked and corrected, were those religiouse leaders and people who had already hardened hearts. When Jesus spoke, He always pointed towards the will of the father and following Him, no matter what the cost, and reguardless of peoples perceptions, oppinions and possible offence.

God is able to work all things together for good, to them that love the Lord.
May our actions, our words and our hearts always aline up with HIS.

My prayer is that whenever we speak, in Faith, God will continue to lead guide, direct and watch over our hearts and our words.

~God's Love never Fails~
God's word always prepares our hearts; and prayer through the Holy Spirit moves on the hearts of those whom we talk and share with.

May God help us to fully grasp the power of our words.

"Even so the tongue is a little member, and it can boast of great things. See how much wood or how great a forest a tiny spark can set ablaze! James 3: 5
