ALL CALLED TO PROCLAIM!!

Every now and again, you might find yourself sitting in your chair thinking to your self that you don’t know what God wants you to do. You may not even think that you have anything to offer;- if this thought has popped into your mind once or twice before, I want to say to you think again.
Everyone has something to offer!
God made you to be special; He designed you to bring Glory to Him.
You have been anointed by God to tell the world about Jesus, and share him with people wherever you are and in whatever you do.You have been commissioned by God to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19
And so it is our job as believers to encourage and to challenge each other in the word to be disciplined and doers of the word.

Now you may say to yourself, “I am not qualified” or “I wouldn’t know what to say”
and I think that’s fantastic!!-
You may wonder to your self, “What does he mean by that?

If you knew it all and always knew what to say, then when would you need to rely on God?- never.

It is not about knowing it all.

I once listened to a sermon that was given to me about Jesus the Rabbi.
Keep in mind that the Hebrew word for rabbi means teacher?
The preacher talked about the intense training and educating that Jesus would have gone through to get to a position where he could be referred to or recognized as rabbi “teacher”

My first response when I heard this was that it did not seem correct, I was sure that Jesus was simply seen and addressed to as rabbi (Teacher) because of what he taught and not by what he had learnt at any elite training centre.
John 7:14-18 (N K J V)
14 Now about the middle of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught. 15 And the Jews marveled, saying, “How does this Man know letters, having never studied?” 16 Jesus[a] answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone wills to do His will, he shall know concerning the doctrine, whether it is from God or whether I speak on My own authority. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.

Jesus was a teacher, Before Jesus set out on his three year ministry he was a carpenter, just like Joseph, his earthly father. As all boys, Jesus learnt about the Jewish traditions and customs. He learnt to recite portions of scripture but we have no evidence that is scripturally sound that supports that Jesus learnt and was qualified by man to be a Rabbi, So How did he become so wise?
Looking at this scripture in John we see that the Jews marvelled at what Jesus was teaching, they themselves knew that Jesus had never studied.-v16.

We see that Jesus responded by telling them that his doctrine is not his own, but his who sent him.
When you read carefully and meditate on V17. Jesus says that if anyone desires to do God’s will he will know concerning the doctrine of spiritual authority and will speak for Gods Glory, and no unrighteousness is in him.

Jesus ministry started when he was baptised, the Holy Spirit came upon him and anointed him with power. Acts 10 :38 tells us “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
So what qualifies you to stand up and take the good news to the world?

JESUS DOES!

I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. JOHN 16:7 NKJ

"But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. JOHN 15:26 NKJ

The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, ROMANS 8:16 NKJ

".. when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you . . . . JOHN 16:13 NKJ
“..the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things . . . JOHN 14:26 NKJ -.. the Helper, the Holy Spirit, . . . He will . . . bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." ACTS 1:8 NKJ

Mark 16:15 15 ”He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.”

……….. Awaken to all, who you are called to be ….
